Don't make the mistake in thinking an MP3 is just a conveninent format for your music. It's actually one of your best promoters and if created correctly can help any listener discover more about you and your music.

Your music deserves to sound the best it can be so encode it correctly - you never get a second chance to make a first impression. But don't stop there, name the MP3 file correctly so the world knows who wrote the song they're listening to. And most of all, be sure to use ID3 tags to embed more information about yourself, your music, where it can be bought, and your website. If someone likes your music you shouldn't make it hard for them to find you. The tools below will help you do this.
