Directions

1. Look at the Art and Graphics category on the Indie Guide.

The Art and Graphics listing has many sites that offer free graphics.

2. Search Flickr's royalty-free photos by clicking the Creative Commons box under the advanced options tab.

Flickr has a search option that will show only photos cleared for use without payment or royalties. Make sure to click the box that states you want to use these photos for commercial use.

3. Search the US Government Photos and Images database to find pictures that are in the public domain.

Most photos on the US Government site are in the public domain, but you must read all disclaimers. There are a few images that require royalties or special permission to use.
