Directions

1. Make a short tagline that describes your band and your music.

For a tagline, less is more. It should be quick, one- or two-syllable words, and it should be descriptive. Anyone could write a paragraph about your band, but try summing it up in just a few words.

2. Try your new tagline out on people you know.

If you use a tagline, you will probably be printing this on your websites, T-shirts, merchandise, or CDs. Try it out on people you know to find out if people like it. If not, make more.

3. Add your new tagline to your website, web presences, and merch.

Add it in your music description on your site, possibly at the header of the main page. And make it part of your Twitter bio and MySpace header.
