Jamendo is a site that hosts albums covered under Creative Commons licenses. Members may download any of the 24,000 (and growing!) available albums for no charge and with now song limit. It is a great way to get heard by new fans. Also, it is a good source for podsafe music.

Mevio's Music Alley (formerly Podsafe Music Network) is a podsafe music collective that provides a location where musicians can upload music for use in podcasts, webcasts, and other new media. Podsafe Music Network has it's own type of license and does not use a Creative Commons license.

Podsafe Audio is a podsafe music collective that provides a location where musicians can upload music for use in "Podcasts, Mashups, Shoutcasts, Webcasts and every other kind of 'casting" that exists on the web. Podcasters from all over the world browse the site to explore music that's been uploaded and know if they play it on their podcast, it's podsafe.
