If you are looking for some help with songs, try online collaboration. Kompoz is a site where you can collaborate with other musicians and virtual bands from around the world.
You can record your ideas with GarageBand, Pro Tools, or the program of your choosing and then upload the tracks to the site. Then invite other users to help add on to your song. Or if you just want to add onto others’ work, join groups for the instruments you play, genres you like, and software you use to find appropriate collaborators. There is a Kompoz Radio podcast where the songs resulting from online collaboration are shared. You can receive comments and feedback on your collaboration from the community too. Some users will host contests to add to or remix their songs. Some of the prizes for these contests include CDs, guitars, music books, and more!
