Indaba Music is an online collaboration platform and social network where you can create your own virtual studio. Start by describing your musical style and tastes on your profile page. Then join groups about your favorite genres, instruments you play, geographic location and more.
Through the groups, forums, and chat functions you will start networking with other musicians. You can start a jam session and invite other users or even join existing sessions and start making music online right away. Indaba even offers an in-browser mixing console to finalize your work.
This site holds regular contests for great collaboration work and remixes, so you could even win some money, publicity, or real studio time.
