Bobby Read/Small World Audio

 This is the studio home base of Bobby Read, long time horn player with Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers. I take production clients on a one by one basis, and bring a long history of skills, both as an engineer and as a musician, playing numerous woodwinds and keyboards/programming, and as a producer, and have a well equipped and comfortable studio near Charlottesville, VA. My website has most everything you'd need to know, numerous audio clips, info on gear and projects, discography, my gigs, cds in the works etc...

Services available include entire cd production and engineering, mixing and editing including tracks recorded elsewhere, and mastering. As a player, I am available for hire to add saxophone, woodwind, windsynth, solo and ensemble tracks, and arranging as well.

Small World Audio is located in a peaceful and beautiful country setting 15 miles west of Charlottesville, Virginia.

Charlottesville is located about 2 hours drive south of Washington, 1 hour west of Richmond, and about 3-4 hours north of Greensboro and the Chapel Hill area. We are conveniently located just over the mountain from the Shenandoah Valley. Charlottesville can be a convenient location for projects that involve musicians from both the northern and southern east coast. The city itself has lots of great restaurants, music venues, an excellent gym, and plenty of lodging options.
