Make a profile for free on Gigleader and you could get booked for gigs. Bookers for venues and festivals check out the band profiles on this site to find talent. Individuals looking for live music for weddings or parties also use this site.
Customize your profile with your pictures and song clips. It is important to upload your best quality photos and audio to get more responses. Make sure to fill in all of the information on your profile like genre, location, song list, and price range to improve your rank in site search results. Signing up for a premium account will bring you to the top of search results and will also give you access to other artist services at Bandmix.com. The premium membership will run you $10 per month.

I was a paying member of the site and picked up a few gigs. I stoppoed paying due to some needed time off and an already full schedule but plan on picking it up again if the need arises. The free version, which is what I have now, is still pulling me some contacts so I would tell anyone here to do the free membership. If you have a few extra bucks, try out the featured membership for a month to see if it equals more gigs in your area. I am in Dallas which is a larger market...may or may not work in your area.
