Phplist is a mailing list solution that you can run from your own website. It has many solid features, and can be integrated into your website design in order to entice your visitors to join your mailing list. ou can use it to capture not only email addresses, but also their snail mail addresses. You can create a template so that you can brand your newsletters well, and it keeps track of all sent mail so that you can go through the archives. Other features include:
- Automatic bounce handling
- Link tracking
- Automatic subscribe/unsubscribe handling
- Administrative notification for subscribes and unsubscribes so that you can keep track of the members of your list
- Handling for multiple lists
And more.
This software can be a bit buggy, and although it has a nice HTML editor to help you put together your email, it helps to know HTML so that you can tweak the messages to make sure that they come out the way that you would like them to. Nevertheless, this is one of the better mailing list software solutions.
