Place Holder

Recommended ID3 tags

An ID3 tag is a bit of data stored on an MP3 file that identifies songs. This information, like the song title and artist, is what you see displayed on your computer or MP3 player when you are listening to a track. These tags clean up song storage by ensuring that MP3s are labeled correctly. Original ID3 tags were designed for MP3 files only, but the new version ID3v2 can cross formats and work for WMA and Ogg Vorbis files. The very basic tagging includes song name, album title, and band but you can add more information to make your ID3 tags more specific.
